talking with someone i know about the process of buying a house and budgeting. this person at home mum (AHM) keeps telling me that she is looking for a job because there family need the money like the rest of us. but is doing nothing. This AHM has not worked for 9 years and has only had an afterschool job before that. so i find out about a cleaning job and let her know AHM says shes very keen and then never called the lady and when i ask her AHM tells me she tried and there was no answer. our husband being friends where talking and my man found out that AHM has decided to work in a bank. all good for her but AHM cant even turn on the computer. and only wants work mon – fri and no school holidays oh and only 9am – 3pm. AHM is constanly buming about not haveing money for the basics but is still booking up things on credit. I think great if someone wants to be at home with the kids ALL POWER TO THEM. but to say you want to work and do nothing is BS and to be drowning in credit debt and keep booking stuff up and get this the hubby smokes pot so they find money for that and for him to drink every weekend that spins me out. Then to top all this off AHM has complaned to others we know that im showing off that i have money. this is just not me i dont have money our house runs on a tight budget my kids clothes come from the sallys etc etc etc. we just dont have credit cards or hire purchase or store cards and every cent is counted. i work a night job and get up everyday and get my kids to school and then spend mydays being the at home mum. this way we dont pay for child care. I work my ass off to have what little we have and to hear comments like that F–K me off. whats with that
